October 23 2024

I was at my childhood church with my parents and I was being treated like a little kid, given little things to occupy my time during the sermon. I whispered a question to one of my parents, to which someone a couple pews down answered me and everyone cooed and laughed, like it was cute.

I got angry and sarcastically yelled at her "thank you", to which I immediately felt embarassed for losing my temper and decided to just leave, remembering I'm an adult who can just leave the situation.

I was at some sort of high school reunion in a banquet hall. There were also a bunch of Youtubers and other internet influencers too. A vtuber was there who made some sort of corny joke about her thighs, to which everyone laughed except for my old friend (whom I never really liked). He called her a bitch, to which the vtuber walked up to him and said something barely audible (I was across the room) but I could make out "short little man". Everyone laughed at him and I watched him run to the kitchen nearby and start crying, to which a cook there started consoling him.

Everyone continued to talk about the ordeal afterwards, and I drank soda out of cup so saggy it was like drinking from a plastic bag.

I was playing a topdown Ed Edd and Eddy game. The level was a bizarre one where you navigated around Ed's house that was covered in disembodied eyes, grasping hands, and female mannequins. I realized that this was some sort of abstract representation of Ed sneaking around his mom, since she's never shown in person.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: This was definitely a result of me playing way too many Yume Nikki fangames over the weekend. A song from Yume 2kki was constantly playing during this dream.

I was watching a Youtube video about a disgruntled employee at a game studio that was working on a Stardew Valley-type game. They were going to shoot up their workplace, but before they did the deed they posted a video online. The video was footage of the game with all the characters reading out a long series of numbers while loud noises could be heard.

Jay Bauman (of Redlettermedia fame) and I were shopping in an aquarium supply store that was located in my old church. He was buying a mini decorative trash bin that I was surprised to hear was $22. He tried to pay with $400 cash, which the cashier struggled to make change for, and I accidentely knocked a box of thumbtacks all over the ground.

I went to China to be enrolled in some huge school. Interestingly enough, it was a school comprised mostly of furries. I made a lot of friends on the first day, and we all sat together during orientation.

I was back in school and kept passing out, so my dad picked me up to take me home. I was apparantly passing out due to depression, so to cheer me up he tried to teach me how to mow the lawn, which involved flooding it with water and snipping the stinger off of a scorpion with a pair of hedge clippers to "fertilize" the lawn better.

Sadly, the scorpion kept floating away in the water and I was unable to successfully snip its stinger off, which did nothing to help my mood.

I don't really remember my dream, but my dream ended when a person was saying the word "security". And the "se" part was synced perfectly to my alarm clock sound, which is the sound of ocean waves. It was a bizarre auditory phenomenon that's hard to describe.

The US was getting striked by missiles from Israel. I was keeping survivors who had their homes destroyed in my house.

I was playing a game set in Japan where you were a stereotypical chubby goth high school girl obsessed with the occult. After getting kicked out of a movie theatre for some reason, you started wandering the streets of Tokyo. You then start getting attacked by random people who turn out to be possessed by demons, and have fight back using weapons you find lying around on the street.

I was playing a DLC for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth where Ichiban buys a lottery ticket and has to traverse a large dungeon to collect enough luck for it to be a winning ticket and make it out without any party members dying. Every single side character and substory character appeared appeared to help them out for one big epic battle on the way out. Interestingly, the final stretch of the escape has you fighting enemies dressed up as the girl who sold you the ticket, including a girl piloting a robot hamburger spider that ended my run by grabbing Saiko and making the robot vomit on her. Thankfully I did the alien sideqeust earlier so I had the passive that grants an auto-revive once per battle.

I was at my high school graduation ceremony. I was about to drive home, but there was a massive storm happening and it was completely flooded outside, preventing everybody from leaving. I ran into an acquaintance and decided to try to get to know them better, but then they started telling me about how they make online videos where they kill small animals using various chemicals.

I was playing the Binding of Isaac, and discovered a new route you could take. It led me to a fight with a boss called "The Twins", which were two floating monstorous babies very similar to the other bosses in the game. The fight took place on the mattress of a giant crib, similar to the Chauncey boss fight in Luigi's Mansion.

I was at a convention, looking at the shops and the arcade they had but wasn't really impressed with anything.

I then started killing bugs in a hallway to supposedly make room for some "wolf spider crabs" I bought. I let them crawl around in my hand.

Instead of letting them loose in my room, I went to a mall to buy a glass tank for them from Petsmart. I got lost inside, as it turns out turning into a maze was the gimmick of this mall.

I was watching a trailer for the new Quentin Tarantino movie. It opened with a pale woman floating face-down in a pond. A giant humanoid creature looms over her like it's about to bob her out of the water.

It then cuts to the same woman walking into the front yard of her mansion. We see her brother, a man in a fat suit, get hit by a 16 wheeler and explode out of his fat suit. Her father is then revealed, a dapper dressed man made out of candy and popcorn.

DREAM CLASS: Weird

RECURRING THEMES

Conventions: I have fond memories of walking through conventions and looking at various booths and merch tables, so I find myself wandering through them a bit in my dreams.

New Game Content: Dreams where I find some sort of hidden level or new piece of content in a game I previously played. These are some of my earliest dreams from when I was a kid.

Back to school: Having dreams where you're back in high school or college is fairly common.

Age regression: A strange recurring theme where even though I'm still a grown adult, I'm treated like a little kid and when I try to argue it comes across as the emotional argument style of a frustrated elementary schooler. These dreams are usually unpleasant, and probably stem from some form of past trauma.

Church: My family used to go to a large church when I was younger, so I have a lot of memories about it.

DREAM CLASSES

Normal: No particular vibe.

Pleasant: The one of the best kinds of dreams. Spans a large variety of themes, but usually a very positive and fun dream.

Weird: Very surreal imagery and themes. Has me thinking about it throughout the morning or day.

Uncomfortable: Contained uncomfortable themes, imagery, or sensations. Usually very gross themes, involving elements such as body horror or insects.

Unpleasant: Similar to uncomfortable dreams, but involving more emotional or social themes. Tragedy, arguements, and disappointments are common themes of unpleasant dreams.

Nightmare: Scary dreams that usually have me waking up suddenly. Not always unpleasant, as the fright wears off quick and I find myself fascinated with the whole thing. Makes for great inspiration, too.

Restless: Dreams where I find myself tossing and turning, and wake up feeling exhausted just thinking about them. Usually include repititous sounds, numbers, or other headache-inducing things.

Interesting: Like weird dreams, but usually containing a more positive vibe. Interesting dreams have me wondering what would happen next if I didn't wake up.

Wonderful!: The best kinds of dreams, where I wake up feeling nice and well-rested. Dreams so good I'm sad that they had to end.
