This is my last attempt at a journal.If I lose interest this month, I will stop journaling.
My goal is to document as many new things I can.
My favorite entry I think was Portrait, where an ex police sketch artist with early dementia starts drawing eerie faces. I also enjoyed Last Countdown, which was structured as a list of 12 of the most cursed videos in Japan.
I'll have to keep an eye on this channel for future uploads.

SOUP ROOMS is a collaborative project by various indie devs that's based off the indie game SOUP. In SOUP, you spawn into a room. In that room is a wall texture, a floor texture, a billboard sprite in the center, a smaller sprite that crawls around the floor, and sometimes a visual overlay. Once you're done taking in the vibe of the room, you walk into a wall, and enter a new room with the exact same layout but different music and art assets.SOUP ROOMS is very much the same deal, with each room varying wildly from art styles and tone. Some of the contributors are indie devs I'm a fan of, such as Kira and Sodaraptor. I haven't seen every room yet, so maybe I'll post screenshots of rooms I found interesting at a later point. For now, here's a selection of ones from tonight's play session.

Per a friend's recommendation, I started watching Ping Pong the Animation. I immediately enjoyed the art style, I love when anime gets to look different than the usual stuff. This might also be the first sport anime I've ever watched, technically.Here's some more SOUP ROOM screencaps.

Today I played Blackjack for the first time at an actual blackjack table. Blackjack is the only casino game I really enjoy, so it was fun, despite my terrible luck.Some more SOUP ROOMs.

I also played HORSES, the indie horror that infamously Steam and Epic Games refused to host. It was good, I'm glad it had a bit of a style and themes and wasn't just horror schlock. I imagine some people would view it as shock for the sake of shock, but I still enjoyed it.
